There are few things more frustrating than having to face something you wanted to avoid. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, many of us are sitting face to face with large hurdles and seemingly immovable mountains. We are tired, and there is nothing we'd like more than to hit "skip" or at least "fast forward."
However, I hear The Lord championing us to "grow through this" instead of just "go through this." How exciting! A call to growth means we have all that we need for now AND provision for later.
With growth in mind, let's shake off the passiveness that comes with uncertainty and take action through prayer. Let's stop occupying our minds with too much information and not enough of God's word. Let's make our hearts ready to receive the word of truth. Finally, let's have enough faith to dream and hope a little (our imagination is for more than just worrying).
The same challenges may be in front of us, but we have all that we need and more to grow through them!
Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
